Dear Artist, Craftsman, and Junk Collector,
You may be asking yourself...What is Snake Ranch Relics? It is not so much what it is as what we envision it to become. We want to create a marketplace for unique and distinctive items. ranging from handcrafted barn wood items, antique farm equipment, one-of-a-kind creations and restorations. We are searching the southwest, specifically the four corners states to bring to market a distinctive collection of items that will peak the interest of any southwest lover.
The concept of Snake Ranch Relics was conceived in the tiny town of Concho, AZ, located in the White Mountains of Arizona. Being AZ natives and living in the southwest all our lives has given us the "hometown" pride and inspiration that has become the driving force of this company.
We have come across so many friends, relatives, and strangers that have unique hobbies. Some are artists who love to work with old barn wood creating tables, picture frames, and other forms of art. Others go "hunting" year round in the western states, picking up shed deer & elk antlers and turning them into unique sculptures and distinctive lighting. These are people who have a passion for their craft. Many work out of small workshops on their farms or ranches. Sadly, these artisans don't have much time or inclination to bring their beautiful wares to the market. That is where Snake Ranch Relics come in. We want to help get these unique and eclectic masterpieces out and available to the public.
We will be providing an avenue both through the internet and seasonal art & craft shows/festivals. We will create an environment where collectors can go online and browse through our online "Store". Since it will be a marketplace, items will be constantly changing and will give the buyer a reason to return and browse again on a regular basis. The inventory will be changing periodically, the "theme" of the market will be the same. Unique and distinctive items created, collected and acquired in the southwest.
